Bialetti Industrie S.p.A. is a leading industrial concern in Italy and one of the main players on international markets. It controls long-standing and well-known brands such as Bialetti, Aeternum, Rondine and CEM. Bialetti Industrie manufactures and markets products in the houseware sector and, in particular, under the Bialetti brand, in the market of coffee preparation products such as traditional coffee makers, electric coffee makers, electric espresso machines, and recently a line of coffee capsules.

The requirements addressed
Bialetti uses nitrogen for the production of single-serve coffee capsules. The coffee is enclosed in plastic or aluminum packaging to preserve and retain its aromas. During packaging, nitrogen is injected into the capsules to remove oxygen. After initially using cryogenic nitrogen, the customer decided to switch to self-produced nitrogen to reduce costs and free itself from binding supply contracts with high and variable costs.

In early 2019, Bialetti contacted us to evaluate the purchase of a nitrogen generator. Right from our initial meetings, the company expressed its desire to focus on very high quality criteria, favoring a system capable of producing high purity nitrogen that is constantly monitored through our remote control system. In the spring of 2020, the system was commissioned, proving the quality and reliability of the completed system.
