For the 2023 season Isolcell completed this project consisting of 15 new CA rooms with the capacity of adding another 4 rooms in the future.
11 rooms are CA rooms for APPLE storage and the other 4 rooms are multi-purpose rooms for the fast-cooling and CA storage of berries. As well as the state of the art CA equipment for 15 rooms we also supplied Insulation panels, guard-rails, gastightness material, CA doors, humidification and digital pressure control system for this project. The equipment installed uses our patented technology to maintain the lowest possible CO2 values for the apple storage as well as a N2 generation system for RAPID PULL DOWN.
Isolcell also designed and delivered a CO2/glycol refrigeration system to allow for the best long term storage conditions.
On top of this the latest technology in gas analysis and injection was installed for the high CO2 storage of berries. A double central analyser giving the operator both control and backup in the CA and machine rooms was also provided.
